Hello everyone, I just added my latest video. It is an in-depth look at hair protein, and a review of two products.
Seems some people speak about protein as though it is the enemy. That it will dry out your hair or break it off.
Here is the deal; We need proteins to strengthen hair. It just so happens that we also
Need moisturizers or hydrators to keep the hair soft and subtle.
Really it’s a good balance that makes the best product in most cases. But when your hairs integrity has been compromised, well now you need both and in good quality.
My personal favorite “Serie Expert” by “L’Oreal Professional”.

Google search engine shows that many do in fact look for help when they have pushed or someone has pushed their hair too far. With searches like
“damaged hair” “damaged hair treatments” “damaged follicles”
“bleached hair care” “bleached hair falling out” “bleached hair turned orange”
All this and so much more from the search engine shows that…
“Damaged hair” happens far too often.
With this in mind, it is my intent to review as many hair care products as I possible can.
Relevant to the point. And that means products the average consumer (or You Tuber)
Might use. This means I will take a close look at beauty supply grade products as well as (ouch!) Wall Mart level products.

So I am not saying that I am telling you my closely held, personally developed, guard at all cost recipes for amazing results. After all it sets us apart at

Besides which (as an example) my favorite treatment takes two to three hours to complete and starts at $100.00.
Keeping in mind that the same treatment in Beverley Hills could easily run you $300.00
And yields amazing results.
Even so, the average consumer did not get damaged hair by spending that kind of money on her hair. (Think Brook Shields, Paula Abdul, who have had the treatment.)

To simplify I am including a product review video.
It will not appeal to everyone. That said it has been my experience that most everyone at some point could use this information to help get them thru a rough patch.

It is fun due to the hammer, the cookie, and the off beat comments from the staff of a certain beauty supply. So…..

Back Combing Tutorial

Backcombing, Back combing Hair, using a brush or using a comb. Or in this case using a "Waa Laa" comb. What do all these things have in common?

Answer: Women still want to add a measure of height. In fact just a few days ago, my wife and i were running some errands and happen to stop at a thrift store to drop off some cloths. As we parked in the unloading section a older women dressed to the nines was going into the store. Or rather i should say she was following her two and a half ft hair into the store. Each tier supporting the next.

Now not every woman goes to such heights to appear taller than she actually is. But most women seem to enjoy the option of adding some volume to their style. At least once in a while.

And while you may not practice your balance by attempting to keep a tower on your head. It seems that some still do. My question is

How do they bowl a lane like that? And for that matter, are they all named "Dot"?

There are literally thousands of opinions when it comes to what products to use when you have “Bleached Hair” or “Bleached Hair Damage” and it seems to be distinguished from “Home hair color damage” or even “Blow dryer damage” in fact the offerings go as far as to include topics like “Repair Damaged Hair Using Home Remedies”.

Here are some helpful facts.

1 All remedies and or recipes for fixing damaged hair no matter the cause will be base on the chemistry of hair.

2 Manufactures will always have a for profit agenda which has to be dealt with.

3 The fundamentals do not change.

4 The degree of damage does.

5 And perhaps one of the most important points. Just because it makes your hair

Feel better or even good does not mean it is helping.

Products like experts can produce an end result that seems correct but in the final analysis is not even close. After all did we learn nothing from Milli Vanilli.

So before you take advice from some teenager who plays a hair dresser on YouTube, perhaps you might want to consider the basics of hair chemistry.

It’s always good to consider just what is being accomplished by the constant change the beauty industry is fervently offering. Currently it is the contrasting of your natural color with colors usually reserved for exotic animals seen only in Madagascar.

Yes they are colorful, but just how realistic is it for your hair to survive this exercise in bleach and release?

Bleaching is necessary to achieve the proper level so your tangerine dream actually is visible. Release is what that color will do after just a few washings as your hair now lacks the necessary underlying pigment to hold onto your color choice.

It’s all just a game of what can we change now. But to come off the winner more often that not here are some tips.

Protein, Protein, Protein. If your expert doesn’t offer it,,,,their not.

Protein will add strength to bleached hair, which is good, but did you know that color is protein loving, which means your color will last longer and look better when your condition conscience.

And since color can wash out up to 33% in the first shampooing, it’s always a good idea not to use low quality shampoo. Again check with your expert.

Current favorites from my camp include Vitamino Color by Serie Expert.

Serie Expert also offers a sulfate free version in their “Delicate” shampoo for hair prone to fading.

Best bet when trending in the fluorescents…use extensions, the damage factor is non existent. The fading is never a problem (when using the correct shampoo) and when you grow tired of the cockatoo look, it’s easy to move on.
